Osama, a loyal friend until the end

Meet Osama.
Please don’t judge him by his name!
Osama was a devoted friend and companion to my late father.
So devoted that for 3 days after my father’s passing,
Osama refused to eat or be comforted.
Instead, he grieved.
He lay beside my father’s grave and wept.
He mourned the loss of his master, his friend, his companion.

For me, this pure demonstration of loyalty is of tremendous sentimental value.
The vision of Osama’s act of love is so precious to me.
I’m moved to tears every time.
My father and Osama treasured each other.
The depth of their love was evident at the end,
Transcending the boundaries of life and death.

Friends, this is the face of true, undying friendship.

One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24)
