What’s Your Perspective?

Sometimes the smallest people can overcome the biggest obstacles …
it’s all about perspective.

  1. What an adorable picture! And you’re spot ON @ the smallest can overcome the biggest obstacles. My take on that is unlike us adults there perspective is fresh & new..They’ve NO memory of fear of failure. I often think how much more adults could/would accomplish IF they weren’t afraid to fail sometimes. The down side of that is, more often than not, lessons are learned even from failing..Its been the times I’ve failed at things; that motivated me to push harder to reach for my lofty goals

    • She’s my sunshine and so strong for her size! And I wish I could harness her fearlessness as well. On the topic of fear of failure, it’s been on my mind a lot lately as well. I’m trying to be okay with making mistakes and looking foolish, but my pride/fear tends to get in the way quite a bit…selah

      • No worries my friend; I think that makes you..human. I’m also still trying to adjust to being fearless. Its a major step for me; probably for any of us. When I think of ALL we don’t even attempt to DO..just cause we’re afraid of failing. Ever check out the long list of people who have failed, and how many times they failed?, before they reached major success in their field? Like Disney. Look at Donald Trump! known as the Comeback Kid..those examples alone should be enough for us. We live & learn. And what I’ve learned? Its when I feel I’ve nothing to lose and all to gain from doing something brave & BOLD..that I do it . I did just that almost 2 years ago. And my Sis? It was one of the very, very, BEST decisions I made in this Life. As well as toughest..Taught me to never say never. Also taught me its those blind leaps of Faith..that bring us closer to our dreams. Or least was the case for me. As for “looking foolish?” Try to think of it like this..WHO are you afraid of looking fooolish in front of? Other humans who aren’t supposed to judge you? Other humans who are ALSO struggling with their own fears and life experiences ? When I decided I cared less what others folks thought; because in the long run I’ve only got ONE life to make mistakes, find joy and spread love?? I’m alot happier….but it took many , many moons to get to this place. So I say all of that to say I can relate…Hugs!
