Some people have a deep need to be right.
I’m a recovering “I know it all-aholic.”
Being right is wonderful.
But how will you learn if you’re not wrong?
How will society advance without failure?
And what’s so bad about being wrong?
Is it birthed from insecurity or competitiveness?
Is the underlying culprit malignant shame?
I used to be hung up on being right.
I’d search high and low for answers
Just to be proven correct.
Now I know that it’s okay to be wrong.
It’s okay to not know.
Find peace and freedom
In knowing that
Growth is birthed from the unknown.
